The British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS), a membership organisation and registered charity, was founded in 1945 and aims to promote the highest standard in the practice of urology for the benefit of patients by fostering education, research and clinical excellence. Urologists are combined medical and surgical specialists who treat men, women and children with kidney, bladder and urinary problems. Urologists also care for men's sexual and reproductive health.
