Received 30 March 2009; accepted 16 April 2009.

Abstract

Unenhanced low dose CT of the kidneys, ureters and bladder (CT KUB) is considered to be the gold standard investigation for suspected renal stone disease providing information regarding size, location of stones and renal anatomy [1]. We report a case where due to the presence of movement artefact on CT KUB, surgical planning was inaccurate.
